Northwood gave an impressive all-round display as they put the disappointment of their last outing, defeat against Didcot, fully behind them. Once again Woods’ cause wasn't help by the unavailability of a number of players, although this has given the opportunity to fully utilise the squad and for players to stake a claim in the side.

Northwood enjoyed the better of the early exchanges against a youthful Bisley side, with the lively Ryan Lee stretching the Bisley defence with a series of jinking runs.

And it was Lee once again who was instrumental in Northwood taking the lead on 15 minutes; he was put through and kept his composure with a neat finish.

In an open game, the play was flowing freely from end to end with Lee narrowly wide of the Bisley goal and Ross Thompson making a good save from the Bisley forward.

During the half-time break Woods decided to deploy a new formation after the enforced change to Dan Briggs after 20 minutes; Luke Aldridge was his replacement.

The second half began at a quick tempo, with both sides making a series of incisive moves, Bisley then pressing hard for an equaliser went with four up front, However, the Woods defence, superbly marshalled by Jamie Tompkins, managed to resist the Bisley pressure.

Twelve minutes from time Woods failed to clear the ball, it fell to a Bisley forward who looked suspiciously offside just outside the penalty box, but he hit a superb equaliser into the top corner of the goal as honours remained even.
